Where your fear is, there is your task.

Updated: Nov 22, 2024

What do you fear? What is stopping you from pursuing your dream?

As Carl Jung said, "Where your fear is, there is your task."

I've become so obsessed with creating a fortress that I forgot there are no more external battles to be fought. The most challenging fight is one that is waged within oneself.

I am about to embark on a journey that will allow me to fly outside my comfort zone and swim in the depths of my creation.

I am terrified, but I am choosing this path. I am ready to be free from other people's expectations and to stop being told to slow down.

Yes, it will be scary and lonely. But think for a second: Are you feeling any less scared or lonely right now?

I am more scared of finding out 10 years from now that I regretted not exploring the possibilities. I'd rather regret what I've done than not do what I am curious about doing.

I fear that becoming a content strategist will be very challenging and will not immediately yield financial rewards. But I need to try.

I want a life full of learning and discovery. I want a life that impacts and encourages others to lead bigger lives with less fear. Most of all, I want a life of meaning and purpose.
